Shades of Pink

Still experimenting with the Swallowtail stamp! My friend Tina and I made these cards at her house using three shades of pink: Primrose Petals, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry.  We stamped the butterfly three times, once in each color, and then cut the butterfly so that all three layers of colors were showing.  Hopefully you can see the 3D effect we tried to achieve by curling each layer up!

Inside: 

 

For the inside of the card I used Miss Kate Cuttables birthday word set and assorted balloons.

Later I distressed the outside edges of the card because I felt like the white was too harsh and it needed some more color, but unfortunately I took the pictures first so you are unable to see the difference it made.  Hopefully my aunt liked her card :)
